Terms of Use

Regardless, all images and characters remain copyright (©) their respective owners. All original characters are trademarks (™) of Studios, and using them, or any other copyrighted material from this site, for any COMERCIAL purpose without the copyright holder's express permission is not permitted. This includes but is not limited to: The promotion of a website or business, sprucing up a presentation or brochure, selling the pieces (whole or in part), or 'sampling' for inclusion in a sold piece of art. If you really want to do one of these things, ask me about it. Maybe we can work something out.

However, if you just love something in my artwork and you want to draw it your own way and make it available for FREE for NON-commercial purposes, you are more than welcome to do so as long as you give me some credit and place a link to Studios wherever you post it. While you're at it, why don't you send it to me as Gift Art so I can post it along with a link to YOU here? ^_^

Commissions and Gift Art

Right now I'm not actively trying to sell commissions, but if you want one just make an offer! Whether I accept will be based on how generous your offer is, the mood I happen to be in, and how busy I happen to be with other projects. That said, it never hurts to ask! You never know, I might even do a piece of art for free if your idea sparks my interest and you let me post the results in my art gallery. Art trades and other forms of compensation are fun too; just don't take it personally if I don't accept your request... you can always make me a better offer. <G> But seriously, I won't bite your head off for making me an "insulting" offer.

If I've done a piece for you, either as a gift or as a commission, that contains only characters and ideas that belong to you, I will grant copyright on the entire image to you so long as you agree to license me the right to retain a copy for personal use along with the right to show this copy to others. However, I will not post the image on my website unless you give me permission to do so. Unclaimed, unpaid-for, or unfinished works are not subject to this.

Censorship

Some governments have passed sweeping censorship laws mandating rating systems and limiting the ages at which citizens may legally purchase, or even be exposed to certain types of information. Clearly these attempts to shoe-horn their population into a certain way of thinking inevitably have little to no effect and are doomed to failure... however if this applies to you, I accept no liability for these "crimes," and this is your fair warning if you want to play it safe.

Privacy

This site collects usage information so that the popularity of each part of the website, the places that people are coming from, and the browser type and version can be tracked. Specifically, it records the IP address, Request URL, Browser String, and current URL for each page view. Beyond this, any other information the site collects will be only by the explicit request of the user and this information will not be shared with any other entity.

Similarly, any software provided on this site will not make ANY communication attempts without the user's express authorization and the content of the data sent will be disclosed up-front. In other words, the software will NOT secretly collect data and transmit it back to Studios without notifying the user. Additionally, the software will not attempt to force itself on the user by installing into places s/he may not want it, and contains no additional programs from 3rd parties.

Warranty

This site and all the software on it are provided "as is" and I make no guarantee of up time or that software will perform correctly on your machine. Additionally due to the unpredictable nature of each user's individual system, and the subjectivity of 'harm' when applied to a computer system, it is up to the user to decide whether it is wise to use any specific program, thus I accept no liability for any accidental or perceived damage done by any program on this site. That said, I will never make a program available which I know to be potentially harmful. I will make every effort to scan each file for viruses before uploading them, but ultimately it is the user's responsibility to protect his or her own computer.
