  Game Projects

Welcome to the game projects section! You might have been thinking you'd find something like a Flash animation or some such but that's not my forte (so far). <G> No, this is the area where you will find my various tries at creating game-related software, game modifications, and game demos.

So try 'em out and have fun!

 <!> New Beast Bodies - Clean Version

Since playing Morrowind, Argonians have become one of my favorite fantasy reptilian races, and I've always wanted to give them the seamless deforming bodies they deserve. I love the Khajiit too, and I've expanded the project to include giving them the bodies they deserve as well. This game is really open to modding and after perfecting my NifTools Maya NIF exporter, I'm finally able to make this a reality!

This is the clean version of the mod. Depending on your mature viewing preference for this website, the nude version may be hidden.
 <!> Unique Shadow Pack

This mod for Morrowind enables the beast races to have unique shadows. The game shipped with only one shadow that didn't particularly look like an Argonian or a Khajiit that was applied to both races, but this mod changes all that. Now the shadows of Argonians, Khajiits, and even Mogs will all be unique.

This mod removes the default shadow and then adds unique shadows into the NIF files used for each race's tail. It will patch over some files in Mog*Mod and Slof's Better Beasts so that those mods benefit from the changes as well. It also contains a tutorial explaining how to add the shadows to your own custom beast race mod.

This mod has been split off of my New Beast Bodies mod and is now a required prerequisite to use that mod.
 <!> RPG Demo

This is a fairly simple game demo so far... it's a Roleplaying Game-type thing where you can walk around on the map, talk to wandering people, and enter battle mode. It's also got scripting and animation ability though it's all hard coded for now. But best of all, it's full of multi-colored Yoshies! <G>

Yoshi is ©Nintendo.
 <!> Virtual S'kra Village

This was the culmination of a project I started way back in the early days of the World Wide Web where a group of us collaboratively created a web-based area modeled after the MUD we played called DragonRelams. It was a S'kra village, with each person contributing pages for their own home that visitors could explore.

Well, unfortunately I lost most of their content, since everyone hosted their own pages, but I eventually stumbled across the Inform Interactive Fiction language, and decided to try to bring what was left of it to life as it was always meant to be! It's still a one-person experience, but now you can explore by typing, and there's a lot more to look at. You can also type "save" to save your progress and "reload" to restore from a previous save. It's also been heavily edited to try to smooth over my terrible writing from my teenage years =x

This is an open source project that I used to be the administrator of. The aim of the NifTools project is to build software that enables users to create and edit content stored in the NetImmerse File Format. These NIF files store the 3D models used in several popular PC games based on the NetImmerse/Gamebryo game engine. So far, we have focused our efforts on NIF files from TES3: Morrowind, Freedom Force, Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich, Dark Ages of Camelot, Zoo Tycoon 2, Civilization IV, and TES4: Oblivion.

DragonRealms was a game that I played for a long time, probably about 6 years in total. It had a lizard-like race that I was particularly fond of and made a fan site for. Over the years I’ve had various requests for information from the site, so today I decided that there would be no harm in putting it back online. Most of this stuff dates back from when I was a teenager in high school, but I've tried my best to edit for spelling and grammar and fix broken links ^_^;

To fans of DR who still remember me and wanted to see this; thanks and enjoy!
