This is a short story that I first wrote in my senior year of High School, 1999. When I was considering it for inclusion here, I wanted to proof-read it first, and I kept thinking of new ways to say stuff, so I started changing stuff. :>

The story is about... well... that's actually a surprise. Read and see! ^_^

Poem for a Leaving Friend

Not every poem you do goes over well, and this one is proof of that. I sensed that the person I wrote this for and I were drifting apart in our friendship and didn't want that to happen... but at the same time I wanted her to know that, even though she might be leaving me now, I would never forget her or stop caring about her.

So I gave her this poem... and never heard from her again ^_^;
Woman Warrior Poem

Here's a poem I wrote in High School for an assignment about The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston. I really hated the book at first, but after reflecting on it it finally made sense and I was able to write a poem about what I felt that it meant.
Silenciel Poems 1 and 2

These are two poems I wrote about yet another character in DragonRealms named Silenciel. She and I hung out pretty much every day and I had a crush on her and did all sorts of things trying to get her to notice, but she never did... the first poem is about my frustration with this and the second is about what happened when I finally out and out told her.

You may get the wrong impression from these, though... it all turned out well in the end. The player of Silenciel and I are still good friends to this day. :)
Zekris' Poem to Camy

Here's another poem which I wrote for a girlfriend of my DragonRealms character Zekris. <G> I kept telling myself that I would just play but I always seem to get involved with someone whenever I do. :>

The player of Camy actually turned out to be my girlfriend in reality for a while, but it didn't exactly work out when we met for real. :x Was fun while it lasted, tho! ^_^

Again, we're both reptile people and chirring is a sound we make when we're happy kinda like purring. <G>
Zekris' Poem to Vortressa

This is poem is one of my favorite of those I've done.... It's a poem I wrote for my RP character Zekris for his then girlfriend... or fiance... I can't remember the exact order of events :> Eh, anyway, it's a love poem and it's got a lot of DragonRealms specific references, but I think you'll understand it just fine. ^_^

For perspective, though, both Zekris and Vortressa are anthropomorphic snake/lizard people, smolgi means friend, and ru'at means close ally. ^_^

Vortressa and I had at least known OF each-other for the longest time and we were always musing about the fact that we didn't get together sooner. :>

This is a little poem I wrote for my then love within the world of DragonRealms. I love to write poems for people who mean a lot to me... nearly all of the important people in my life get a poem eventually. <G>
